Manta ray and diver

A large e chevron manta ray at Roca Partida in the Revillagigedo islands Mexican Pacific. The diver behind is videoing as she passes by. Photographic records of all the mantas seen in the islands are recorded as individuals and named once their recognition markings have been recorded and added to the Pacific Manta record archive some are tagged too with electronic tags to monitor movement. This information is used to help protect these beautiful creatures from indiscriminate fishing and to learn more about their lives . They are known to be the possessors of the big brain in the world of fish and have given indications that hey can demonstrate certain empathic feelings and emotions in so far as they will show preferences to certain people whilst moving away from others.
